Janet Thomas

Janet Thomas’ 24-year career has not been down one path, but two. She could have taken the road well-traveled, following three family generations into engineering. Instead Janet’s artistic nature led her first to a degree in landscape architecture followed by a degree in interior design.

Since joining i.d.o., Janet has channeled her love of nature, art, music and the noblest ideals in life into her projects. On the side, Janet is an accomplished textile artist who looks to glass artist Dale Chihuly and textile artist Hollis Chatelain for inspiration. For Janet, following her bliss has been the way to find her focus in life. As her achievements with i.d.o. will attest, Janet has found the place where she belongs.
