    Indiana University - Briscoe Quad Renovation

    i.d.o. Incorporated is proud to be supporting the design team as the Interior Design consultant for our first project at Indiana University. The Briscoe Quad project is being designed and constructed with the intent of receiving a LEED-Silver rating from the USGBC (United States Green Building Council).

    Briscoe Quad consists of three separate buildings, Gucker Tower, Shoemaker Tower and a Center building. Both of the tower buildings are used primarily for student housing. The Center building is mainly used as multipurpose space. Capacity of the entire Briscoe Quad is 564 student rooms with 1046 beds.

    The project will be constructed in 2 phases to allow for partial occupancy of the dormitory with the completion of the final phase scheduled for July 2012.

    i.d.o.’s role, as the Interior Design consultant, is to support the project team; Vector Consulting, the engineering consultant, and ArcDesign, the Architect.

    Hendricks Regional Health YMCA - Avon

    i.d.o. Incorporated is proud to be supporting the design team as the Interior Design consultants for Hendricks Regional Health YMCA in Avon, Indiana. Our i.d.o. team, is also very pleased to be partnering with Maregatti Interiors for the first time in sharing the interior design responsibilities on this project. Our Architectural partners are American Structurepoint Inc, and Moody Nolan Architects.

    This project will serve Hendricks and western Marion counties and is schedule for completion in the spring of 2011. The 30-acre property has 10 acres designated as a public park offering a great location for serving thousands of residents within walking or biking distance of the area.

    The project is a healthcare and wellness facility. i.d.o.‘s responsibility for the wellness portion of the facitlity include a natatorium, gymnasium, wellness and fitness area, locker rooms, administrative offices, child watch center, teen center, and indoor aquatic center. Maregatti Interior’s responsibility for the Healthcare portion of the facility include cardic rehab, sports medicine, physical therapy, radiology/lab, retail space and extra expansion space for family practice. Shared spaces include atrium spaces, cafe space, community meeting rooms and staff areas.

    The partnership between the YMCA and the Hospital will be one of the most integrated collaborations in the country and marks 15 years of striving to have a YMCA facility in this area of our State. More importantly the project represents a true partnership for the betterment of the community. i.d.o. is very proud to be a part of the design team of this exciting and note worthy project.
